What if there are earlier conflicting marks?

This will not necessarily be a barrier to the registration of a new trade mark. We may notify earlier trade mark holders if we think there may be a risk of confusion with the new mark.

There are options to amend the goods and services classification or negotiate with previous trade mark owners to get around any problems.
