File patent forms and/or documents for a pending UK patent application
Only the following items may be filed via this web form.
- Form AF1
- Form 7
- Form 9A
- Form 10
- Form 52 (plus late document and/or evidence)
- Covering letter
- Later filed claims
- Later filed abstract
- Replacement pages of the specification
- Amended pages of the specification (pre grant only)
- Translation of priority document
- Search reports from other patent offices
- Request to retrieve priority documents from Priority Document Access Service (PDAS)
- Sequence listing

Checklist
Make sure you have:
- Your UK patent application number (format GBnnnnnnn.n)
- All
the essential documents and details required for the filing, for example:
- contact details
- name and address details of applicant(s) & inventor(s) (if required)
- documents being filed
- covering letter (always required when documents are being filed) - Each document that you want to file, saved with a unique filename in a PDF format (or .txt format for sequence listing)
- A valid e-mail address where we can send the web filing receipt
- A valid credit/debit card or details of a deposit account that you hold with us (if payment is required with your submission)
