Changes to the NICE classification system from the 1 January 2012 (10th Edition)

On 1 January 2012, the 10th edition of the International Classification of Goods and Services (NICE Classification system) will come into force.

The purpose of notice is to provide guidance so that applicants/attorneys can familiarize themselves with the changes to the classification system before it comes into force.

A summary of all changes (127Kb) introduced in the general remarks and explanatory notes in the new edition and the changes approved to the Alphabetical List of Goods and Services are available.
